Notes and summaries
Zionist leader, of Philadelphia, Pa.; b. Rose I. Magil. Papers consist of correspondence, clippings, and other material relating to Bender's work on the national level and in Philadelphia with Hadassah, Zionist Organization of America, Allied Jewish Appeal, and other Jewish concerns, including National Jewish Hospital, American Palestine Music Association, and Palestine pavilion at the 1939 New York World's Fair. Includes notes and souvenirs from her work as delegate at Zionist Congresses in Geneva (1939) and Basel, Switzerland (1946).
