Notes and summaries
Established trading post (1841), became the first permanent white settler of Prairie La Crosse (Wis.) in 1842. Left La Crosse for St. Paul, Minn. in 1848.
Correspondence consists of letters written by Nathan Myrick from St. Paul, Minn., three to Ellis Usher and one to Albert Hirshheimer, both of La Crosse, Wis. Includes an invitation for Mr. & Mrs. Nathan Myrick's 50th wedding anniversary celebration in St. Paul (1893).
