Publication information: [1864] Carte de visite of Charles H. Morse, Commissary Sergeant, Third Michigan Cavalry. Morse, a resident of Orleans, Michigan, was 23 years of age when he enlisted as a Sergeant on September 14, 1861, at Orleans, Michigan. The Third Michigan Cavalry was stationed at De Valls Bluff, Prairie County, Arkansas, the winter of 1864-1865.
