Prominent Philadelphia Irish-American radio broadcaster, travelogue producer, and press secretary to Mayor James Tate from 1968 to 1971. Bulk of collection documents Stanton's radio, film and charitable activities in relation to Ireland and the Irish-American community. Also includes materials on Irish history and culture. Consists of correspondence; speeches; radio scripts; clippings; scrapbooks; award certificates; biographies; photographs; song sheets; a manuscript book of poetry by an Irish Fenian, dated 1865-1872; and related material.
