The Emmet J. Larkin papers consist of the professional and personal papers of historian Emmet Larkin (1927-2012). These include correspondence, research materials, drafts of books and other publications, records of professional activities, teaching materials, and other papers. Much of the material consists of photocopies of archival materials pertaining to the history of the Roman Catholic Church in Ireland in the nineteenth century. There are also records of the American Conference for Irish Studies, of which Larkin was a founder.
