General description of the collection: The 2nd Battalion, 29th Field Artillery, Operation Desert Storm Combat Historical Summary was written in 1991 and describes the unit's Desert Storm combat from 15 January-16 April 1991. The unit history is dedicated to the "Battle Ready Soldiers" of Desert Storm and all the people who supported them. It describes in detail the combat that took place during the Persian Gulf War and contains maps of the different operations, formations, and positions. The report has four enclosures on chronology, a Fire Mission Log, Chain of Command, and the Positions-occupied by the battalion
The papers consist of the 7 December 1941 journal of Headquarters, 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii. The seventeen page journal records messages and reports received by the unit during and immediately after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Orders issued by Headquarters, 25th Infantry Division and actions taken by subordinate units are also recorded in the journal

Scrapbook containing predominantly late eighteenth and early nineteenth century newspaper and magazine clippings pertaining to the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln. Adelbert C. Wendell, a Fox Lake, Wisconsin native who served in the Civil War and later became a member of the Grand Army of the Republic, compiled the scrapbook between 1865 and 1916. This scrapbook demonstrates the devotion that many Union veterans felt toward Lincoln and also the extreme reverence in which he was held by the population at large. The scrapbook is divided into six chapters that detail a particular aspect of the Lincoln legend, mostly through newspaper clippings that at times include printed photographs or other graphics. The first is titled "The Lincoln Farm" and provides information about an organization called the Lincoln Farm Association, founded in 1906, that sought to gain national park status for the farm where Lincoln was born.
