Five part-books, probably from early 17th-century France, with some pieces dated 1622-1624, containing motets for 8 to 12 voices, arranged for superius, contratenor, tenor, and bassus. Several of the songs are dedicated to St. Ignatius, and may have been part of a Jesuit liturgy

Collection contains a stock purchase and dividend ledger, 1836-1917; incoming correspondence, 1859-1940; memoranda on wages, production, machinery orders, etc., 1869-1879; inventories and statements, 1853-1898, 1933-1935; trial balances, 1856-1931; ledgers, 1830-1935, including one for Spaulding and Collins; journals, 1834-1938, including two for Spaulding and Collins; cashbooks, 1857-1935; and daybooks, 1849-1889. Also contains sales books, 1877-1916; price lists, 1856-1878; payroll totals, 1930-1935; stock inventories, 1902-1911; and a weaving record, 1907-1908. Includes a carpenter's ledger, 1826-1829, which appears to have belonged to a C. Starr; the ledger predates the Russell Manufacturing Co. and includes entries for labor and material used to build a school, church and homes for owners of the company.
