Although the collection contains relatively few documents, its major value lies among more than three hundred photographs (see photo collection number 302), as well as several films including home movies, news coverage, publicity reels, and commercially-made films of various formats. These media aptly capture the culture of the Desert Inn and Las Vegas in the 1950s. The single box of files includes correspondence sent and received by the Clarks to national and international celebrities and dignitaries. There are also oversized magazines and a Desert Inn scrapbook. The majority of the items originate from the 1950s
