Seven views of Lima, Peru, and environs by one or more unknown photographers. Three views are taken from the Plaza de Armas: the Cathedral; the Municipalidad; and the portals along the southwest corner of the plaza at the intersection of Mercaderes and Mantas. The view of the Cathedral is possibly by Villroy L. Richardson, ca. 1870; the view of the Municipalidad, possibly by Eugenio Courret, ca. 1874, was taken after the building was remodeled and the roof line altered. Other images are: the grave and monument of José Guzmani in the Lima cemetery; two views of the port of Callao, one showing a great number of ships in the harbor and the other showing the railway lines on the docks; and a view of an unidentified hacienda
