A collection of pamphlets on education, educational exhibitions and school jubilees. The Jubilee pamphlets are largely for New Zealand schools such as Takaka, Leeston, Paraparaumu, Rongotea and the Northern Wairoa area. The Jubilee of state education in Victoria is also incuded and the centenary of education in New South Wales. Also included are pamphlets on school canteens, health education, and lighting. Other inclusions are various pamphlets on salaries agreements for New South Wales teachers and school population statistics for New Zealand. Other general articles relating to education and teaching are included. Also includes pamphlets on improvements to Newington College (1912) and a Railway Dept. (N.S.W.) list of travel concessions issued in 1942, conditions for private overseas students, vocational guidance, technical education and a catalogue of scientific and technical films (1953). Other items deal with Education in Indonesia and the Soviet Union

Many of the pamphlets do not have dates, the photographs are mostly black and white or sepia, and the prices are given in pre-decimal currency. Also includes pamphlets on Ballarat in 1881-1883, a power station in Yallourn, the port of Geelong, a reprint of a1863 copy of the Ballarat Courier, and an information booklet promoting Victoria to prospective settlers, ca. 1909, and a short story
