This collection contains materials generated by or about the Law School Alumni Association. It contains minutes from the Law School Alumni Association's monthly Board of Directors meetings, as well as the minutes from the Law School Alumni Association's general Annual meeting. In some series, there are also monthly Treasurer's reports and/or their associated bank statements showing the status of the Law School Alumni Association's finances. Also included are memoranda, letters to and from various members of the Board of Directors, and other ephemera. There are also directors, officers and presidents lists, Law School Alumni Association bylaws and revisions, distinguished alumni award winners, and materials from the Centennial Celebration committee

This collection is arranged into one chronological series and contains alumni directories from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, non- continuous, produced between the years 1907 and 2002. The Alumni Directories contain official lists of graduates from the years 1889 to 2002 (living graduates only at time of printing for each volume after 1969). These lists include students from Chicago College of Law, Kent College of Law, and Chicago-Kent College of Law

The School of Law records document the administrative and educational activities of the School of Law from 1960 to 2011. The Office of the Dean series includes records relating to the accreditation by the American Bar Association, as well as to the Academic Committee, Advisory Council, Black American Law Student Association, and dean searches in 1984 and 1993. Of special interest are reports documenting the Law School after it reopened and the Domestic Violence Institute. The Development series contains records of the Law School Alumni Association, the fund-raising campaigns for Cargill and Gryzmish halls, and the 1980 and 1992 capital campaigns. Records from the Placement and Career Services Office document efforts to help students and graduates find internships and employment. The records of the Northeastern University School of Law (A6) document the institution's administrative and educational activities from 1900 to 1998. The collection includes material on the evolution of the School of Law from a series of evening courses sponsored by the Boston YMCA into a formal program of legal education. The collection also contains some information on the closing of the School of Law in 1953. Also included are the records of the Law Alumni Association, development and fund-raising records, student newspapers and newsletters, admissions catalogs and brochures, facebooks, cooperative education handbooks, and placement and career services information. Researchers should note that there is some chronological overlap between this collection and the School of Law records (A44), 1960-2001
