The Mary Louise Armstrong Collection consists of materials documenting Armstrong's student years at Oregon State College and her work as a Regional Home Economist for the Live Stock and Meat Board. The collection consists of newspaper clippings and photographs. The news clippings include announcements and news reports of public presentations on meat cookery given by Armstrong and others from the Live Stock and Meat Board. Several of the clippings are from newspapers in New England. The presentations addressed and demonstrated how to select cuts of meat and prepare meat dishes. The photographs include group photographs of members of Mortar Board and the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. The Mortar Board photos were made by Howells Studio in Corvallis. The collection also includes promotional photos for Armstrong's demonstrations on meat cookery as well as an image of a group of young women in front of a Purina facility, perhaps in St. Louis, Missouri

The Home Economics Club Records document the membership and activities of the organization for home economics students at Oregon State. The records include constitutions, correspondence, event brochures and flyers, financial records, handbooks, meeting minutes, memberships lists, newsletters, newspaper clippings, presidents' notebooks, reports, and scrapbooks. The collection includes materials pertaining to the spring honors luncheon and the silver tea fundraiser as well as tours, program planning, faculty relations, and communication with the American Home Economics Association and Oregon Home Economics Association. The scrapbooks consists primarily of newspaper clippings, but also include minutes, brochures, and a few photographs. Guestbooks are also included in the collection

The Activities of Women Scrapbook consists of programs, brochures, and announcements for women's activities at Oregon State College. The activities include gymnastics demonstrations, dance festivals and performances, pageants, stunt shows, banquets, and teas. A program for the dedication of the Women's Building is included. Programs and announcements for the annual Woman's (and Women's) Day activities are part of the scrapbook. The creator of the scrapbook is not identified; it may have been assembled by staff of the Oregon State College Library

The Student Activities Photograph Collection is an artificial collection of photographs documenting student activities at Oregon State University. The bulk of the collection consists of group photographs of student organizations, including the Blue Key Honor Society and Mortar Board Honor Society. Images of members and officers of the Dad's Club are also part of the collection. Dan Poling, Dean of Men from 1947 to 1972, is pictured with members of the Blue Key Honor Society and the Dad's Club. The collection includes images made by Howell's Studio and Hise Studio in Corvallis; all the items in the collection are b/w photographic prints
