Collection consists of 254 color slides, 10 cassette tapes, 4 microfilm reels (35 mm. in B & W), 5 typescripts and 1 CD-ROM documenting and researching the Mixe Indians. The color slides include ceremonies among the Mixe, ritual healing and other folk medicine practices, materia medica, aspects of their division of labor and of their material and social culture with views of the Mixe Region. The slides also include 5 maps of the Mixe Region from 1706 from the Archivo General de Indias (Sección Audiencia de México (México 881, estante 62, cajón 6, legajo 27, mapas 100-104)).
