The files were kept by James L. Knutson, TALC secretary for Africa and Madagascar of the Division for World Mission and Inter-Church Cooperation. Most were labeled American Lutheran Church Association of Missionaries (Senegal) or ALCAM. These files include correspondence between the DWMIC and officers of the ALCAM. The officers are Chairmen Sigurd N. Larsen, Clifford S. Michelsen, Robert Cottingham, and John Soloninka and Treasurer John Soloninka. There are also financial records, minutes, and agreements with the FELM. The remainder of the files contain information about projects supported by TALC, such as literacy, agriculture, and medical work
