Collection of correspondence, printed materials, and manuscript notes relating to the Bayreuther Festspiele from 1926 to 1935. Correspondence includes letters between Hans Brencke, Winifred Wagner, daughter-in-law of Richard Wagner and director of the Festspiele in Bayreuth from 1931 to 1944, Wilhelm Lubosch, Hans von Wolzogen, the National-sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter-Partei, and others. In 1945 the Dept. of Music was established at Waterloo College and Seminary with Dr. Ulrich Leupold as Director. As a result of the increase in music courses as well as in faculty, the Dept. of Music became the Faculty of Music on May 1, 1975
