In addition, the record group includes a small number of miscellaneous real estate, court, and water trust documents. Records in boxes 1-82 are arranged in an imposed numeric order, though there are significant gaps in the number sequence either because the land was sold by The City, the abstract was rebuilt and superseded by a newer version, or the abstract was not found on file. The Oklahoma City Bond Fund record group consists of documents generated by the propositions, elections and projects of approved bond fund monies between 1945 – 1979. The bulk of the records include resolutions, ordinances, bids, project specifications and plans, contracts and payment authorizations. Engineering reports, correspondence, bond transfers, The City of Oklahoma City Council memos and agendas are part of the supplemental documentation related to bond projects and expenditures. Rapid city expansion during the 1960s stimulated an increase in bond fund elections and dollar expenditures. Improvements and construction in support of Oklahoma City’s infrastructure of streets, bridges, water, sanitary and storm sewers, airports, police, fire, Municipal buildings, libraries and parks were funded through bond sales.

Council Proceedings record group from 1965 through 1990 contain The City of Oklahoma City Council agendas, summaries, publications, bid tabulations lists and recorded project bids. The document prepared before the meeting, showing all items to be considered was historically called the Final Docket, and is known in later years as the Formal Agenda. Some agendas include a list of notices to be published for zoning, bidding, hearings, and ordinances and resolutions in the years 1965-1970. The document prepared after the meeting that shows a record of actions taken or documents adopted is the Summary. The format of the summary varies. In 1965 summaries are typewritten memos to the City Manager from City Council and include a synopsis of actions taken or stricken. There are no vote counts for individual officials or items. The Election Files Record Group contains The City of Oklahoma City official election records between 1908 through 2004. Election types include: Primary and General Mayoral, City Council, Charter Amendments, Bond Fund, Sales Tax and Franchise elections. Types of documents contained in the folders are official election results, ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, affidavits, ballots and ephemera. Not represented in this collection are the years 1951 – 1960. Bond transcripts include: Statement, charter amendments, certificates, city council proceedings, affidavits, published notices, election proclamation, official ballot, proposition, bid documents, ordinance issuing bonds. The Petroleum Pipeline Agreements are documents generated in order to construct oil and natural gas pipelines throughout The City of Oklahoma City. The permit applications, agreements, cancellations, resolutions, transfers and blueprint plans found in this series reflect the newly established business requirements of pipelines within city limits. The majority of the documents date from 1929 to 1950 with the exception of Phillips Petroleum Company documents dated 1930 to 1984. The files are arranged alphabetically by company name, then chronologically for each. Within the series there were seven entities that had placement cards without documents – A and K Petroleum Company, A. C. Fletcher, Simon Lebow, Midland Co-op Wholesale, Oklahoma Broadcasting Company, and Petroleum Oil Company.

The Resolutions record group spans 1894-1981 and pertains broadly to the business of the City of Oklahoma City and to actions of commendation or condolence. These records are handwritten or typescript and contain notarization by seal or stamp and signatures of the Mayor and the City Clerk. The original signed copies of Resolutions in this record group are filed on paper through the year 1981. Those passed after 1981 can be found by City Council meeting date and are accessible as electronic files. The record group is supplemented by a partial index that spans October 1935 to December 1979 that is housed in a separate location within the Office of the City Clerk. The Municipal Code record group contains bound volumes, supplements, and chapter code publications of The City of Oklahoma City Municipal Code, 1909 – 2012. These publications represent the codification process of ordinances adopted by City Council. Bound volumes of the Municipal Code have been published by The City of Oklahoma City since 1906 with updates in 1913, 1928, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1993, 1999, 2002, 2007 and 2010. Supplements containing code revisions were published in the intervening years. Each bound volume of The Oklahoma City Municipal Code contains The City of Oklahoma City Charter. Indexes are separately published volumes corresponding to an annual supplement or bound code volume.
