This collection consists of records created by Richard W. Schneider in three administrative positions at Drexel. It includes his official correspondence; two sets of subject files, one that spans Dr. Schneider's tenure at Drexel (containing some reports that predate his tenure) and one relating to academic affairs; and a set of files on specific departments and offices and their personnel. Also found in the collection are a set of records of the Deans' Rolling Agenda, a set of board meeting minutes from 1989 to 1992, materials on Drexel president William Gaither, and notes from vice presidents' meetings from 1985 to 1989
The collection is composed primarily of the minutes of the University Faculty (1894-1896, 1907, 1913-1922, 1948-1986) and the Faculty Council (1922-1948, 1952-1954, 1967-1986). The collection also contains copies of the University Faculty's bylaws, revisions, and draft revisions dating from the 1970s, correspondence from the 1940s through 1970s, files on standing and ad hoc committees, and subject files, the bulk of which were created by Faculty Council chair Robert Coren in the early 1970s
