This collection consists of items created by members of the Kentucky Civil War Round Table based in Lexington, Kentucky. The items, dated 1954-1972, include 30 letters written by round table secretary, Hambleton Tapp, to members; 24 Kentucky Civil War Round Table newsletters, including one from the Louisville Civil War Round Table; a Louisville Civil War Round Table dinner invitation, a newspaper clipping concerning Major Robert Anderson and the surrender of Fort Sumter; and a round table members list. The letters written by Tapp concern future meetings, speakers, and other events. The newsletters feature brief civil war biographies, letters, and stories; recommended books; and roundtable events
