Collection comprises a handwritten manuscript volume entitled MEMORANDA MAMHEADICA, BEING NOTES OF A RESIDENCE AT MAMHEAD FROM THE YEAR 1891 AND ONWARDS, by W. C. Plenderleath, M.A., Rector (421 pages, recto only), including a detailed table of contents, 2 line illustrations in pen tipped in, with index and "memoranda on the last page of Book B" laid in. The manuscript ends in 1905 with the close of his rectorate, but includes the author's notes and footnotes dating to February 1906. Topics include his establishment as rector; history of the rectorate; appointments of parish clerks; furniture, paintings, furnishings of the church; and renovations made; the value of the living; management of the school along with the impact of governmental legislation on it; vestry meetings; the first Parish meeting under the 1894 Local Government Act; parish objectors and a related hearing; and Plenderleath's resignation and the selection of a new rector. The collection contains records kept by the daughters of E. I. du Pont, Victorine (du Pont) Bauduy, Evelina (du Pont) Bidermann, Eleuthera (du Pont) Smith, and Sophie Madeleine Du Pont. These include the constitution of the Sunday School, list of subscribers (1817), rules and regulations for the school (1821), accounts, registration books (with scholars names, ages, and parents), class books, attendance records, notebooks, rule books, and copies of hymns and prayer books. The records also include lesson notebooks of Victorine du Pont Bauduy, Eleuthera du Pont Smith and Sophie Madeleine du Pont, as well as some correspondence from former students. There is also a roll book of Christ Church Sunday School (1888-1891)
