Photographs include snapshots taken during the filming of the John Wayne Alamo motion picture at Brackettville. A small amount of material relates to her employment at the Daughters of the Republic of Texas Library. Musical compositions consist of songs and hymns composed or adapted by Hamlett, with related copyright information, clippings and correspondence. Writings include published volumes and associated material, published articles, and unpublished manuscripts. The manuscripts include two novels set in San Antonio and reflecting Hamlett's interest in the role and status of women. A novella co-authored by Marie Coudsi Basila is also included
