The major portion consists of galley proofs and manuscript drafts of three novellas in The Mayor of New Orleans: just talking jazz. There are also drafts of three short stories; Charity begins at home, Passa blanc and the Black revolution, and The Way, the truth, the lights. There are some reviews of The Mayor of New Orleans.
