These papers consist of correspondence, clippings, and biographical material concerning the career of Mr. Farrar in music, dance marathons and anti-litter campaigns.
Art Farrar was a well known band leader in the 1940's and 1950's. He suffered from polio as a child but overcame it and set a record dancing for 23 days in a contest. His orchestra provided music for daily broadcasts on KDKA radio and he appeared in the film "Musical Extravaganza."..
