The Vera N. Preobrajenska collection contains original music scores in ink and pencil. It also contains short stories, translations, notebooks, poems, drawings, and paintings.
Vera Preobrajenska was a composer and journalist who graduated from San Francisco State College in 1952. She became an associate composer at the American Music Center in New York City and then she got a Ph. D. in Musicology from Bernadean University in 1973. Her compositions include "Concept of the Egg" (dance comedy), "Crime and Punishment", "Preobrajenska's Village" and more.
