Arranged by object and medium and then by century and style within each object. Silver also arranged alphabetically by maker.
This assembled collection of photographs and clippings represents British decorative arts of the 13th through the 20th centuries. The collection represents many different objects and mediums in decorative arts including furniture, chimney pieces, clocks, glass, metalwork, mirrors, porcelain, pottery, silver, stained glass, textiles, and wood carving. Furniture and silver make up a large portion of the collection. Works in silver by Paul de Lamerie and Paul Storr are well represented. The collection contains mainly clippings and some photographs from numerous sources including commercial vendors and photographers, auction houses, galleries, museums, and a collection of clippings from Dr. Willem Rudolf Juynboll.
