A street at the southeast corner of the city square in Jamestown, Tennessee. A number of cars and trucks are parked on the street in front of several shops and businesses.
Pall Mall in Fentress County was Alvin York's hometown. Photographs were taken during a series of meetings between York and Hollywood producers related to a proposed film based on his World War I exploits. Producers captured photos of the meeting between York and Warner Brothers filmmakers as they researched the film, "Sergeant York."..
