Contains thirteen portrait photographs of actors and actresses associated with the B.F. Keith Stock Company in Portland. Persons represented include Adra Ainslee, Louis Albion, Belle D'Arcy, Lola Downin, Blanche Friderici, Robert Hyman, Frances McHenry, Richard Milloy, and Sidney Toler. Many of the photographs were taken by Fenley Photo in Portland, Me. Opened in 1908, Keith's Theatre could seat 1,600, and presented vaudeville, stage shows, and occassional movies before switching over to movies entirely by the 1920s. The theater was later known as the Civic Theatre. It was was demolished in the 1960s for a parking lot.
